Immune Boosting Smoothies

“Mya Approved Smoothies!”

Vit C Smoothie

1 orange

½ cup full cream plain yoghurt (or almond milk or kefir)

½ cup frozen strawberries

½ cup frozen pineapple

1 tsp ginger

2 tsp honey

2 Tsp your choice of nut butter

'I don't feel good Mom' Smoothie

This one is a bit of a process to make, but it looks beautiful!

My kids don't love it, but I tell them it is medicine...

1 cup frozen mango

Juice of 1 lemon

½ ground tumeric

¼ tsp cayenne pepper

½ tsp ginger

1 orange

* Blend together pour into glass*

In clean blender:

1 small beetroot

1 cup frozen berries

½ cup pomegranate juice

Honey to taste

Pour carefully on top of the first blend.

I think its delicious!

Immune Booster

I must admit this one isn’t a favorite either, but they’ll have it when feeling poorly.

1 carrot

2 orange

1 cup coconut milk

1 apple

1 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar

Sm ginger

½ cup pomegranate juice

Honey to taste

Cold Fighter

½ cup spinach

1 Tbs Wheatgrass powder

½ cup frozen mango

½ frozen pineapple

½ apple

1 cup orange juice

Honey to taste

Winter Warmer

Mya’s go to smoothie. She has it for breakfast EVERY SINGLE MORNING!

This recipe is enough for 2 servings, so half goes into the fridge for the next days breakfast.

1 orange

½ cup plain full cream yoghurt

1 banana

½ beetroot

1 cup blueberries

1 tsp ginger

1 Tsp honey

Luke’s Breakfast Smoothie

1 Banana

½ cup kefir

2 Tbs Peanut Butter (sugar & salt free)

½ cup frozen berries

½ cup frozen pineapple
